A Dream come true
Neither
size, nor wealth, nor age is to be regarded as a quality for any personality and
a burning example is Mr. Sirajuddin Qureshi; Chairman-cum-Managing Director,
Hind Group of Industries, New Delhi-65. Throughout, a Distinguished academic
career at the University of Delhi, Mr. Qureshi did not lose sight or his
ambition of what he is today.
Within
a few years, Mr. Qureshi set up an abattoir at Aligarh, the most modern and
advanced design with machineries imported from abroad. He travelled tirelessly
all over the world, had studied, it was a huge commercial success from the
outset - he found himself among a few renowned personalities of Delhi, but his
richness never overshadowed his willingness to work for poor and the lowly
section of the society, irrespective of their caste, creed and clan.
One
of India's largest exporters of Fresh and Frozen Meat, Hind Industries Ltd. (HIL)
and Hind Agro-Industries Ltd. (HAIL) are Government recognised, reputed 100%
E.O.U. based at New Delhi, for over two decades. The Co. markets its products
under brand name "EATCO" and "SIBACO", well known in the
Gulf Countries, where they have become a household name.
Mr.
Qureshi's two decades experience in the industry has given him in-depth
knowledge and expertise of the procurement of perishable good's processing,
freezing and marketing. Under his noble guidance the Co. further got impetus and
has also bagged Awards and Honors : Eight APEDA, Export Excellent Awards and
three NPC Awards. Apart, from export of fresh and frozen meat to the ME, S.E.A.
and the C.I.S. countries, Mr. Qureshis' interest lies in Aviations, Travels
& Tours, Export of agri-based products, venture in new areas and Imports
from China and the European countries.
Since
its inception in May 1973, HIL and HAIL emerged as a leader in Meat Exports. The
Hind Group has a strong marketing network nationally as well as internationally
with automated, well-equipped office, spread across the country and abroad. With
an extensive and streamlined infrastructures in Delhi and in Aligarh backed by a
strong team of committed specialist professionals, the Co. has moved from
strength to strength at a breathtaking pace. Mr. Qureshi found exports a field
where he could blend his business expertise with creative intelligence and human
insight.
A
down to earth and pragmatic person Mr. Qureshi's strength has enhanced manifold
due to ably supported by his son Mr. Samar Qureshi. His son having returned from
Australia after completing his higher studies in Business Relations, is
extending and strengthening his father's hands most efficiently and very
effectively. Apart, Dr. Naseem Qureshis' role and his contributions in the field
of production can't easily be ignored.
A
supreme example of what a man may accomplish who refuses to accept defeat, an
embodiment of the nation which displays the same quality in the darkest hours of
Hind Group of Industries.
To
sum up, the goal and the days ahead are tuff but, there's always a vacancy at
the top and its just a matter of time, that Mr. Qureshis' dream come true.
